The Power of Offshore Business Licenses in the UAE
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as a strategic hub for global enterprises, offering a business-friendly environment, tax advantages, and unrivaled growth opportunities.
One of the key elements that Adler & Partners specializes in is securing Offshore Business Licenses for international companies.
Types of Offshore Business Licenses
At Adler & Partners, we have established a strong partnership with RAK International Corporate Centre (RAK ICC) in Ras Al Khaimah to set up Offshore Companies. Several types of business licenses are available from RAK ICC for different industries and activities.
Businesses should carefully consider their activities and select the most appropriate license type to ensure compliance with regulations and maximize operational flexibility. For businesses, consulting with registered agents like Adler & Partners who partner closely with RAK ICC is the best option. Our experience has shown that the following licenses are most popular in RAK ICC.

UAE Offshore Company
Offshore Company Formation Process
The process of registering an Offshore Company in RAK International Corporate Centre (RAK ICC) involves several steps:
STEP 1
Choosing Company Type
We will help you to determine the type of company you establish an Offshore Company in RAK ICC, such as a Free Zone Company (FZC) or an International Company (IC).
STEP 2
Selecting a Business Name
We will help you to ensure that it complies with RAK ICC's naming guidelines and is not already registered or trademarked by another entity.
STEP 3
Engaging a Registered Agent
RAK ICC requires all companies to have a registered agent who will facilitate the Offshore Company registration process. We are working closely only with the most reliable and trusted RAK ICC registered agents.
STEP 4
Preparing Documentation
The necessary documentation should be provided to the registered agent. It is our job to guide you through the entire list, make sure it is accurate, and ensure it is submitted correctly.
STEP 5
Company Name Approval
The proposed company name will undergo verification during this stage.
STEP 6
Memorandum and Articles of Association (MAA)
We will draft and finalize the MAA for your company. This document outlines the company's structure, activities, and regulations.
STEP 7
Signing and Notarizing Documents
On this stage signing the MAA and other relevant documents is required. We will take care of notarizing the documents either at the RAK ICC premises or with a registered notary public.
STEP 8
Company Registration
Upon submission of all required documents and completion of the necessary steps, RAK ICC will issue the Certificate of Incorporation, officially registering your company.
STEP 9
Licensing and Permitting
After company registration, we will apply for the relevant business license(s) based on the activities you plan to undertake. This involves submitting additional documentation and fulfilling specific requirements based on the chosen license category.
